Communications Plan
LSI dedicates considerable resources and personnel to its communications infrastructure, which allows us to tell our story to thousands of education professionals, industry experts, and the general public. Every project we are involved with is serviced by a dedicated communications professional and has access to a full-time graphic designer.
LSI's Assistant Director (Media, Communications, and Marketing) works directly with the communications staff of the funding agency and project partners to ensure coordinated messaging that aligns with the project's goals. Our communications department shares all public-facing content with those constituents to provide a seamless flow of information.
LSI also works closely with Florida State University's communications office to share news about our work and to publicize the projects we are involved with. Typically, the university and LSI announce every grant we receive to appropriate media outlets and university partners. LSI's communications department will publicize all the project's noteworthy achievements throughout the contract's life on our social media channels and via email.
On LinkedIn, Facebook, X, Instagram, and Bluesky, LSI has over 10,000 combined followers and an email distribution list with more than 300 recipients. Our followers are highly engaged. For example, we posted over 350 times on LinkedIn in 2024, and those posts' average engagement rate of nearly 11% is well above the LinkedIn average of 3.85%. Our email open rate is 60%, 24% above the industry average, and our click rate is 67% higher than the industry average.
Few partners have invested in quality communications services like LSI, another area that sets us apart.
