The Future Physicists of Florida is an outreach effort of the Fox Superconducting Linear Accelerator Laboratory and the Physics Department at Florida State University. The program is hosted by the Florida Center for Research in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.

The Future Physicists of Florida is a middle-school outreach program recognizing students who show mathematical ability and encouraging these students to take the challenging high-school courses in math and science necessary to properly prepare for college majors in physics and engineering.

This year, the footprint of the Future Physicists of Florida program is doubling, reaching approximately 500 students, with new induction ceremonies for the honor society being held in the Florida Keys (in collaboration with the Monroe County School District) and in Panama City (in collaboration with the FSU-PC campus), in addition to our original sites on the campuses of FSU and the University of West Florida.
