STEP supports a nationwide approach to continuous professional development (CPD) for teacher educators preparing primary teachers. Providing teacher educators quality professional development opportunities in foundational literacy instruction are beginning to make a difference.
Dr. Anna Romanova, a former member of the Ukrainian Parliament and Secretary of the Committee on Family, Youth, Sport, and Tourism Policies, received her Ph.D. in Economics from the Kyiv National Economics University, where she later served as an associate professor.
She also holds two master's degrees in Public Administration and in Education, Social Work, and History. She is the author of more than 50 scientific publications (LINK).
