With both Ukraine and Florida experiencing catastrophic damage to cities from war and hurricanes, respectively, students at Florida State University joined forces with peers in Ukraine to develop real-life solutions for reconstruction efforts last month.
Dr. Brenda Wawire, a research faculty member at the Learning Systems Institute (LSI) at Florida State University, has been awarded a Jacobs Foundation Research Fellowship.

Dr. Ely Djulia Katmadihardja is a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at Florida State University. This fellowship represents a full-circle moment for Dr. Djulia, who first began working with the Learning Systems Institute at FSU in 2006.

Florida State University's Ukraine Task Force (UTF) recently hosted six visitors from Nizhyn, Ukraine, affiliated with the Nizhyn Lyceum (magnet high school), a historic institution founded in the 19th century. Among the visitors were three high school students and three teachers/administrators. The students are all members of the Lyceum's Robotics Club.
