Florida State University’s Ukraine Task Force (UTF) joined in the worldwide celebration of Ukrainian culture and resilience by hosting a Global Vyshyvanka Day celebration for the third consecutive year on FSU’s campus.
Florida State University’s 78th Student Senate recently passed a proclamation celebrating the school’s Ukraine Task Force (UTF). At their March 4th meeting, the student senate recognized the UTF’s outstanding dedication to supporting Ukraine throughout the four years of the full-scale invasion.
Dr. Anna Romanova, a researcher at the Learning Systems Institute and a member of Florida State’s Ukraine Task Force, visited the Dedman College of Hospitality to present on the power of tourism for growth and recovery.
Dr. Anna Romanova, a former member of the Ukrainian Parliament, has joined the Learning Systems Institute at Florida State University. As a researcher, Dr. Romanova utilizes her passion, expertise, and network to inform FSU's Ukraine Task Force.
Established in 2022, FSU’s Ukraine Task Force was initially created to forge partnerships between FSU and Ukrainian scholars and educate the FSU community about Ukraine. The charge was to explore mechanisms and actions whereby the university can provide meaningful help locally, nationally and internationally to affected students, scientists and academics.
