The U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs announced Thursday that the Learning Systems Institute (LSI) at Florida State University (FSU) will welcome approximately 20 South African college administrators and officials to Tallahassee.
Florida State University doctoral student Bodunrin Akinrinmade’s passion for educational policy led him from his home country of Nigeria to Tallahassee, where he is expanding his knowledge of how to improve basic education in developing countries, specifically in Sub-Saharan Africa.
RTI International has extended its contract with the Learning Systems Institute (LSI) at Florida State University to continue supporting the Advancing Basic Education in the Philippines activity. Specifically, the LSI team will use its extensive experience to build the research capacity of Bicol University (BU), West Visayas State University (WVSU), and Department of Education (DoE) stakeholders, focusing on early literacy.
