Vilma Fuentes, Ph.D. (Learning Systems Institute) led the inaugural Visiting Professor Partnership Program, which brought eight visiting scholars from four leading institutions in India to FSU’s Tallahassee campus for exploratory research collaborations.

Celia Reddick, Ph.D. (Learning Systems Institute) published “When I go meet my parents, which language am I going to speak with them?”: Tensions between language-in-education policy and programming, and refugee families’ multilingualism in exile in the Journal of Multilingual and Multicultural Development and "How decisions are made: Organizational Isomorphism and a focus on English in refugee education" in a Special Issue with the Journal on Education in Emergencies.

Brenda Wawire, Ph.D. (Learning Systems Institute) co-authored “Exploring the nature of classroom discourse in multilingual classrooms: Questioning for higher-order thinking skills, translanguaging, and knowledge construction,” which was published in Teaching & Teacher Education.

Anna Romanova, Ph.D. (Learning Systems Institute) published “Poetry therapy for strengthening the resilience of educational leaders in crisis: a pilot training case study from Ukraine” which was published in the Journal of Poetry Therapy.
