This summer, Florida State University will welcome scholars from India’s top research institutions to Tallahassee through a new initiative designed to spark international collaboration, accelerate innovation and expand FSU’s global research partnerships. 

The Florida Center for Research in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (FCR–STEM) reached an important milestone this year, celebrating its 20th anniversary.

Florida State University’s Ukraine Task Force (UTF) joined in the worldwide celebration of Ukrainian culture and resilience by hosting a Global Vyshyvanka Day celebration for the third consecutive year on FSU’s campus.

The first, highly successful COIL project between the Armenian State University of Economics (ASUE) and FSU was implemented in the fall 2025. In the Spring of 2026, 24 students from both universities participated in this 10-week asynchrounous virtual exchange program.

FSU InSPIRE’s Director of Education and Workforce Talent, Carrie Meyers, was awarded FLATE’s Manufacturing Partner-of-the-Year for Service.

The team leading educational and workforce development and STEM outreach on the FSU InSPIRE project at Florida State University’s Learning Systems Institute (LSI) has announced the addition of two summer workshops. ROBO 101: Introduction to Robotics in the Classroom will now be offered free to educators in Bay County (July 6-12) and Okaloosa County (July 13-17).
